Shutters

Material and Finishes

Henley Shutters offer five choices of materials for Plantation Shutters.

Craftwood

Craftwood: A low cost, but superb very high quality MDF with wonderfully durable plastic coating, only available in three shades of white. The heavy weight of Craftwood makes it unsuitable for some applications

Pearlwood

Pearlwood: A fantastic wood for Shutters, lightweight and dimensionally stable, this mid priced wood has only been available since early 2008 but is already proving to be a firm favourite

Basswood

Basswood: Simply the best. Basswood has been the timber of choice for the manufacture of premium quality Plantation shutters for many years.

CedarWood

Cedarwood: Made from Western Red Cedar, these shutters are available in an oiled or lacquered finish; they are our most expensive choice for shutters but they are simply beautiful

PermaWood

PermaWood: Consisting of a timber core with a synthetic (ABS) water resistant surface, these shutters are designed for use where high humidity resistance or durability is required e.g. bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms.

As you can see, Henley Shutters have selected the widest possible range of plantation shutters materials to enable us to fulfil any customer requirement.
