Henley Shutters is  proud to be the premier Plantation Shutter company in South Oxfordshire, serving Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and parts of north Surrey and West London.  Based in Henley on Thames, Henley shutters is a member of the Act1 group which is well known locally as a premier manufacturer and supplier of bespoke hand made curtains and soft furnishings. Act1 has been trading since January 2002 growing steadily year on year, and has occasionally in the past supplied plantation shutters upon requests from customers. In the early part of 2007 it became clear that there was a growing local demand, not just for a plantation shutters supplier, but for a company who could give advice, and who could be relied on to install plantation shutters as required by the exacting standards of the local customers. It was clear that this business, although strongly linked to the curtain business required different skill sets and a different approach, and in July 2007 Henley Shutters was born.

Henley Shutters was founded and is run by Chris Tampsett, under the watchful and critical eye of his wife Helen, the founder and managing director of Act1 Ltd.    

At Henley shutters we are passionate about three things.  Firstly we are passionate about the need to have happy customers and we will always go the “extra mile” to ensure a great customer experience. Secondly we are passionate about plantation shutters, we believe that they are often the defining feature in a room and as such it is vital that they are included as part of the overall interior design. Thirdly, we are passionate about our business and we believe that if a business is run well, then it will be run better than most of its competitors. Everything we do stem from these three passionately held beliefs.  

Henley Shutters offers the complete range of plantation shutters including solid wood and manufactured board (MDF), we regularly install both solid and louvered shutters and specialise in all window shapes including round, angled, arched and irregular  shapes needed for conservatories, glass roofs and gable ends of houses .
